M6 crash: Air ambulance rushes multiple people to hospital after ‘serious’ collision
Multiple people have been rushed to hospital via air ambulance after a “serious” collision on the M6 motorway.
The crash occurred on the northbound carriageway at M6 Thelwall Viaduct, junction 21 Warrington.
National Highways said in a statement: “There’s now nearly a 90 minute delay northbound and 45 minutes south.”
“Traffic is being diverted via the exit & entry slips,” it added.
“Emergency services are still on scene.
“There’s an hour and a half delay on approach. Please consider alternative routes.”
