Palestine march descends on Conservative headquarters as protesters demand ceasefire
Pro-Palestine protesters have descended upon the Conservative Party headquarters in London, demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.
The protesters chanted “Ceasefire Now” as they arrived at the building.
There have been several marches in recent weeks demanding a stop to the fighting in Israel and Gaza.
Over the weekend, thousands of pro-Palestine protesters gathered in Parliament Square to call for a ceasefire.
The demonstration moved from Bank Junction to Westminster, with many holding signs reading “Free Palestine” and “End the siege”.
Some protesters chanted: “One, two, three, four, occupation no more, five, six, seven, eight, Israel is a terrorist state.”
