Lorry ‘overturns’ in horror collision with drivers stuck in miles of tailbacks
A lorry has overturned on the M40, leaving drivers stuck in lengthy queues after the motorway has closed southbound.
Junction seven near Thame and junction six near Lewknor have shut due to a collision involving an overturned heavy goods vehicle.
Emergency services are on the scene.
An AA update reads: “Road closed, stationary traffic and delays due to rolled over vehicle on M40 Southbound from J7 A329 (Thame) to J6 B4009 (Watlington).”
Lanes on junction 8 have also been shut.
Drivers have been advised to find an alternative route.
