Our Services
Research Marketing serves two audiences at once: the practitioners who read us to do their jobs better, and the brands, agencies, and platforms that need to reach those practitioners credibly. This page describes what we offer each audience. It is written plainly on purpose: what follows are real, standard trade-publication services, described without embellishment, without invented client lists, and without published prices — every commercial arrangement is scoped and quoted individually.
For Readers
Trade News Coverage
Our core service is free, daily journalism across seven beats: Marketing, Advertising, Media, Consumer Insights, Digital, Business, and Technology. We cover agency and brand leadership changes, account moves, earnings and deal news, platform policy changes, measurement and privacy developments, and the research that explains consumer behavior. Stories are published on the open website so any practitioner can read, search, and share them.
Research Briefs
The industry produces more studies than any reader can absorb. Our research briefs condense significant public research — from earnings calls, regulatory filings, platform transparency reports, and published consumer studies — into short, cited summaries: what was measured, what was found, what the limits of the data are, and why it matters. Briefs always identify the original source so readers can go deeper.
Newsletters and Alerts
Readers can follow the publication through its on-site sections and headline feeds. As additional distribution products are introduced, they will be announced on this page and clearly described, including what is free and what, if anything, ever requires registration.
For Brands, Agencies, and Platforms
Advertising
Research Marketing offers display advertising across the site, including header billboard placements, in-article units, sidebar units, and footer placements, as detailed on our Advertise page. Advertising buys reach with a professional audience in a relevant editorial environment. Advertising never influences what we cover; our newsroom and commercial operations are separate, and that separation is a stated condition of every insertion order.
Sponsored Placements — Always Labelled
We offer clearly labelled sponsored placements for organizations that want to present their own material to our audience. Sponsored content is produced or supplied by the sponsor, reviewed for basic standards of accuracy and legality, and published with a prominent “Sponsored” label so no reader can mistake it for newsroom journalism. Sponsored material does not receive a Staff Reports or reporter byline, is not counted in our editorial coverage, and its presence never guarantees, implies, or purchases favorable news coverage. This labelling policy is absolute and is restated in our Code of Ethics.
Research and Content Collaboration
Where a partner organization has genuinely useful data — an anonymized industry benchmark, a methodological white paper, a market survey — we can collaborate on labelled sponsored briefs that present that material to readers with the sponsor identified in the headline area and the byline line. Editorial collaborations of this kind are commercial products, are always disclosed, and are kept distinct from our independent research briefs described above.
Event and Webinar Promotion
Industry events, webinars, and report launches aimed at marketing and media professionals can be promoted through our advertising and labelled sponsored placements. Listings are promotional in nature, are marked accordingly, and do not constitute an endorsement by the Research Marketing newsroom.
How Engagements Work
- Enquiry: Commercial enquiries begin through the routes on our Contact page or by post to 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067. Please state whether your enquiry concerns advertising, sponsored placements, or partnerships.
- Scoping: We respond with the available placements, formats, and scheduling options relevant to your enquiry, and we quote individually. We do not publish a rate card on this site, and no price should be assumed from any third-party listing.
- Standards review: All advertising and sponsored material is reviewed against our advertising standards: it must be lawful, decent, identifiable as advertising, and must not imitate editorial design or bylines.
- Separation: Signing a commercial agreement does not create any right to review, preview, approve, or suppress newsroom coverage. If a sponsor is also a subject of news, we cover the news and label the commerce — in that order.
What We Do Not Offer
For the avoidance of doubt: we do not sell news coverage, favorable reviews, rankings, or awards. We do not publish unlabelled paid content, we do not remove or soften accurate reporting at a commercial partner’s request, and we do not fabricate audience figures or client testimonials. If a service is not listed on this page, we do not offer it.
Part of 24World Media
Research Marketing is a 24World Media publication. Some commercial services described here are fulfilled with support from network-level operations, but the standards that govern them — labelling, separation of news and advertising, and corrections — are the standards of this publication and are published openly on this site.
Editorial Standards Behind Every Service
Every service described on this page — free journalism, research briefs, advertising, and labelled sponsored placements — operates under the same published commitments: the two-source sourcing rule and open corrections described in our Code of Ethics and Corrections Policy, and the strict separation between the newsroom and commercial activity. Readers can verify those commitments at any time on this site, and commercial partners accept them as a condition of working with us. That transparency is itself part of the service: an audience that trusts the labelling trusts the publication, and that trust is what makes both the journalism and the advertising worth having.
